4 actives were hopping in my car when we saw one of our pledges, Dan Geraty come walking out of Johnson Hall, he asked us where we were going, one of the actives, without missing a beat told him the Doves pimped an active and we knew where he was and had to go get him. We asked if he wanted to join us, he said sure, he got in the back of the car voluntarily, sitting bitch. As we pulled out of the lot, the pledge asked who got pimped. 'You' we replied. We took him and dropped him off somewhere, on our way back to Carthage, we passed the BP on HWY E and 22nd ave and saw the distinctive Jeep of another pledge parked on the side of the building, ended up pimping him too.

NOW YOU'RE COOKING!!! Having a professor with the first name of Eric brings back the memories of the beginning. Way to go brothers! The picture of him looks like he is a Turtle!

To Professor Pullin -- Welcome on board and thanks for helping out with the first fraternity on the CC campus that is also the greatest. Look forwarding to having a beer and a brat with you at homecoming after having a beer and a pizza at the Casa Capri. Check the TEXAA website for a column starting on the history. Thanks again!

It is an honor to make the founders happy. We did not know if this blog was going to be a success or not, but getting recognition from the 1st Turtle president makes it all worth it. Thank you for your support and the creation of such a proud organization.

Nice job, Turtles, way to carry on. Saw my name at bottom of left hand column of past presidents, which was nice, until I saw how many names were on the next column. And its almost time for a third column, oh *%#@! Hoping more of us check-in here on the Turtle blog, this is a smashingly good idea. I'll do what I can to alert those I am in touch with. Can anyone tell me...

Is the Bartley House still there in Kenosha?
Randy D: is Brian DeVito, pres. 2002-03, a legacy?! God Bless 'ya!
How many of you have visited Scott Sutton's Facebook page? Check out the running socks, awesome!
Did I hear Prof. Bill Miller passed away? I loved that man. Got hammered w/ him once (maybe twice). Tried a couple of his no-filter Pall Malls, too.
Who among you can regale us with an accurate rememberance of the Angela Zophy incident? Winners gets 8x10 glossy of Eric Olson. Bill LeFevere is not eligible due to central role in this particular Turtle legend. I'm Out. - Brian P. Smith, Pres. 1983-84

Way to go Actives! I'm really pleased to see that you guys (and gals) are jumping in to get connected with the alums. Over the last 50+ there has been on and off efforts by the actives to reach out to the alums but this blog is going to make it much easier. I hope you have a lot of success handing this from class to class so we never go without. Kurt Lehrmann '75
