4 actives were hopping in my car when we saw one of our pledges, Dan Geraty come walking out of Johnson Hall, he asked us where we were going, one of the actives, without missing a beat told him the Doves pimped an active and we knew where he was and had to go get him. We asked if he wanted to join us, he said sure, he got in the back of the car voluntarily, sitting bitch. As we pulled out of the lot, the pledge asked who got pimped. ‘You’ we replied. We took him and dropped him off somewhere, on our way back to Carthage, we passed the BP on HWY E and 22nd ave and saw the distinctive Jeep of another pledge parked on the side of the building, ended up pimping him too.

NOW YOU’RE COOKING!!! Having a professor with the first name of Eric brings back the memories of the beginning. Way to go brothers! The picture of him looks like he is a Turtle!

To Professor Pullin — Welcome on board and thanks for helping out with the first fraternity on the CC campus that is also the greatest. Look forwarding to having a beer and a brat with you at homecoming after having a beer and a pizza at the Casa Capri. Check the TEXAA website for a column starting on the history. Thanks again!

You guys make me proud! In 1953 we didn’t know much about this (most of still don’t-old farts you know).Thanks for getting the connection between actives and alumni started and going! I missed homecoming last year but hope to be there this year and meet all of you.

Way to go Actives! I’m really pleased to see that you guys (and gals) are jumping in to get connected with the alums. Over the last 50+ there has been on and off efforts by the actives to reach out to the alums but this blog is going to make it much easier.
